Lopping Hall

High Road, Loughton IG10 4LF

Ideally located on this fabulous High Street, Lopping Hall is a beautiful theatre space which hosts a wide array of classes, workshops and shows. I have booked a lovely hall upstairs, but don’t worry as there is a lift in the lobby to use if you are bringing any prams!

Parking on streets can be great, but beware some of the 2-3pm restrictions. There are a wide variety of pay and display car parks nearby, the closest being Marks and Spencer. When the class is over the high street is home to many shops and cafes, I personally recommend Hope Cafe in the nearby church, which has a fantastic play area for small children while you enjoy some tea and toast!

Parking

For free street parking you may find a spot near Brook Road or Brooklyn Avenue, where you can cut through to the high street and emerge next to Gail’s Bakery.

Alternatively if you are in a rush and happy to pay, there are pay and display car parks at Marks and Spencer and on Smarts Lane.

Woodford Methodist Church

Derby Road, South Woodford E18 2PU

The church hall is a large spacious building which has been recently renovated. There is plenty of space for children to explore and there is a spacious foyer through windowed doors if you need to pop out of class quickly to take a call or similar.

In summer the park down the road (Churchfields) is very secure and has great play equipment, and there are great shops and cafes like Belgique round the corner, and if you have the opportunity to walk further, George Lane is a lovely place to spend the day eating or shopping.

Parking

Should you wish to arrive by car there is a pay and display car park opposite the Church on Derby Road. 1 hour is £1, and RingGo users can pay by calling 02030460010 (Location ID is 7104)
